Louise S. Consiglio
Louise Solame Consiglio, age 85, of Elsmere, DE passed away quietly on July 14, 2013.
Louise was born on June 13, 1928 in Swoyersville, PA. She and her late husband, Vincent, raised their eight children in Elsmere, DE. Louise graduated from St. Francis nursing school in 1949, and when she was able, enjoyed spending time along the Eastern shores with her friends from nursing school. She retired after 48 years from the Wilmington Medical Center where she was a nurse. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.
Lousie was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent A. Consiglio; and her son, Anthony V. Consiglio. She is survived by her daughters, Aleta Pedicone and her husband William, Lisa Julian and her husband Mark, Teresa Hoeveler and her husband Harry, Anita Crowley, and Annette Consiglio; her sons, Victor Consiglio and his wife Francine, and Mark Consiglio and his wife Amy; her 14 grandchildren; her 7 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert Rozenko; sister, Ruth Truskolawski; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Saturday morning, July 20, at 10:00 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Friday evening, July 19, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
