Louise Mary (Schuckler) Jannaman, age 95, passed peacefully with her children by her side,
on August 28, 2018.
Louise was born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1923 to the late Howard and Catherine (Connell) Schuckler.
She was a lifelong homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. She served her country with pride during WWII as a riveter at Bellanca in New Castle, making pontoons for planes destined for the war effort. Despite some health issues late in life, she was well enough to live independently until shortly before passing.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leonard; and her siblings, Howard Schuckler, Henry Schuckler, Joan Small and Kathleen Kosinski.
She is survived by her three children, Lois Ann Prichard (Ralph), Len Jannaman, Jr. (Joan) and Linda Mizikar (John); her grandchildren, Will Jannaman, Greg Jannaman, Lauren (Mizikar) Garniewski (Chris) and Michael Mizikar; as well as her brother, Joseph Schuchler
The family invites you to a Celebration of Life Mass at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 905 New Rd., Elsmere, DE 19805. Interment at 10:00 a.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
