Obituary
Lucy "Janie" Giorgi, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Janie was born in Ladysmith, Virginia in 1943, to the late Andrew and Irene Sweet. She was a devoted wife, mother and Mom-Mom who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She would always have a joke or two to make you laugh to brighten your day.
In addition to her parents, Janie is preceded in death by her husband, John.
Janie will be dearly missed by her son, John and his wife, Jennifer, her devoted daughter, Livia, her grandson, Andrew and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 10:00am to 11:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am following the viewing.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Janie's memory.
