Lynn Marie Kowal Lynch, (nee MacGuinness)
Passed suddenly but peacefully in her sleep early Saturday morning on March 15, 2025.
Lynn was a loving, kind, and gentle woman who loved her family with her whole heart. Her husband, Jim, was her person and their love for each other was unmatched. Lynn was the most caring and loving mother to her children; Nikki, Shannon, Ben, and Jesse, and her extended children Jenn, Jay, and Chrissy. She always said that they were greatest gift. Lynn lived for her granddaughters Kennedy Vivian, and Millie Anna, as well as her bonus grandson, Elliott William.
Lynn loved the time she spent with her brothers, their catch-up chats on the phone and at Christmas gatherings. Her cousins were more like siblings and their bond is unique.
Lynn loved the spring, the Philadelphia Phillies, & sitting on their deck with her babies "trying to solve the world's problems." She cherished all the small moments because she knew they were, in fact, the most important.
Her memory will live on through her husband, her children, and grandchildren as we continue the traditions she instilled. She was a sister, a mother, a wife, an aunt, a grandmother, a cousin, and a friend.
A gathering to celebrate her memory will be held at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., from 10:00 am-11:00 am on Friday, March 21. The eulogy service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
Attendees are encouraged to wear her favorite color, yellow.
In lieu of flowers, Lynn would have preferred a charitable donation in her name to Autism Delaware, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, or any animal rescue agency.
