Margaret (Pat) Evans
Age 80 of New Castle
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 2, 2016.
Margaret was a dedicated employee of the Colonial School District, where she worked as a school bus aide and dispatcher. Margaret was a committed life-long member of the Methodist Church of New Castle.
Margaret's hobbies included reading, crocheting, listening to country music and playing shuffleboard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mildred O'Day; her loving husband, Donald Evans; and her daughter, Donna Evans.
Margaret will be dearly missed by her children, Donald Evans, David Evans, and Laureen Toner; her 15 grandchildren, including Jonathan and Kristi who she raised after their mother's passing; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service for Margaret at Krienen Funeral Home, 34 W. 6th St., New Castle, DE 19720, on Monday, May 9 at 7:00pm. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of the flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Margaret's name to the Lupus Foundation of America, 101 Greenwood Ave #200, Jenkintown, PA 19046.
