Margaret Lamborn Goldinger

Age 90, passed away on Mon., Oct. 31, 2011.

Marge was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and Goldey Beacom College. She was employed for 35 years at the law firm of Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell, and was the personal secretary to Judge James Tunnell.

She was born and raised in Wilmington and spent many years at her home that she loved on Garrison Lake in Smyrna. Marge has spent the last five years at Windsor Place in Hockessin. Her family would like to especially thank her friends and the caring staff of Windsor Place and the Compassionate Care Hospice for the care they provided.

Marge enjoyed needlepoint and quilting. She was a gifted and talented seamstress and especially loved making wedding gowns and dresses for her nieces.

Marge is the daughter of the late Robert C. and Sarah L. (VanTine) Lamborn. She was preceded in death in 1985 by her husband, Joshua Goldinger. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Connell, Ann L. Mulrooney, Sara L. Geiszler; and her brothers, Robert C. Lamborn, Jr., George E. Lamborn, Sr., Charles A. Lamborn, Sr., and Harold A. Lamborn, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Florence L. Joyce; her tireless caregiver, Nini; and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi RC Church, 901 New Road, Elsmere, on Sat., Nov. 5, 2011 at 10:30 am. Friends may call at Corpus Christi Church on Sat. morning from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
