Margaret (Peg) Morris

Age 84, of Wilm., DE, passed away on Thurs., Nov. 3, 2011, surrounded by her family in Compassionate Care at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Peg was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Prettyman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Morris. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Charles Prettyman, and her sister, Marie Hearn.

Peg was employed for several years by E.I. DuPont before retiring. She enjoyed her family, travelling, and knitting.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Green, and her husband, Francis, of Wilmington; her son, Russell Morris, of Newark, DE; her sister, Sister Dorothy Prettyman, SSJ, of Wilm.; her brother, William Prettyman, and his wife, Mildred, of Newark; her beloved grandchildren, Brian Green, and his wife, Natalie, Kristen Knowlton, and her husband, Craig, and Sarah Green; and her great-grandson, Brendon Green.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere, on Mon., Nov. 7, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Beloved R.C. Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilm., on Tues., Nov. 8, at 9:00 am. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Newark.
