Margarita Hernandez
Age 86, died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 14, 2010 at the home of her daughter.
Margarita was born and raised in Camuy, Puerto Rico, and came to the United States 39 years ago.
She worked for the Campbell Soup Company for many years.
She loved to cook and prepare large meals for the holidays. She was very devoted for her family.
Margarita is survived by her son, Gilberto Perez; daughters; Amalia Jimenez and Carmen Vega; her 13 grandchildren; her 20 great grandchildren; her brothers, Virgilio Hernandez, and Rafael Hernandez; and her sister, Emilia Hernandez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul's R. C. Church, 4th & Jackson Sts., Wilmington on Thursday, February 18th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
