Mark DiAngelo, age 61, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024 at Christiana Hospital.

He was born on July 22, 1963, in New Castle, DE. to Mario and Catherine DiAngelo.

Mark attended William Penn High School. Upon graduation he went to work for County Insulation and New Castle County Sewer and Maintenance for over 20 years.

Mark loved embracing his Italian Heritage and was a proud member of the St. Anthony's Club in New Castle, De for 40 years.

Mark was an excellent athlete throughout his life and has the trophies to prove it. He wrestled and played football for St. Peter's and William Penn High School as well as softball and touch football for St. Anthony's. In his down time Mark, enjoyed collecting and reading comic books. He was a big fan of Law and Order and Criminal Minds tv shows. He was a loyal Oakland Raiders fan his whole life. He enjoyed spending Sundays at his son, Mark's house for football and food. But most of all he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and many friends. Mark will be remembered for his infectious smile and ability to crack a joke.
He was loved and will be missed by so many.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother Catherine DiAngelo (Gott), his father Mario DiAngelo, his son Matthew Celli, his sister Sheila DiAngelo and his brother Anthony DiAngelo.
Mark is survived by his wife Deborah DiAngelo, his son Mark (Sheila), his daughter Marissa, his five grandchildren, Matthew, Juliana (Josh), Gianna, Joshua and Layla, his brothers Mario (Sharon), Joseph, and David (Annette), his uncle William Gott (Janie) and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 101 W. 6th St., New Castle, DE 19720, on Tuesday, August 27 from 5:00pm-6:00pm. A memorial service will take place at 6:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
