Mark Newman age 57 passed away on August 16, 2021.

Mark was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on September 28, 1963, to the late, Joseph F. Newman and Marion (Alpaugh) Newman.

Mark was a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan and an even more devoted father and grandfather. If he wasn't talking about football, he was sure to be talking about his children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew Mark loved him and his memorable, contagious laugh. Mark was charismatic, kind, generous and loving to all. His absence will leave a lasting hole in many that will be impossible to fill, especially to his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Newman; and his sisters, Margaret Emsley, Regina Sullivan, and Patricia Rineer.

He is survived by his loving children, Mark J. Newman (Jacqueline); Danee' L. McKennon (Stephen) grandchildren, Shane J. Newman, Zachary J. Newman, Kennedy M. McKennon, and Carter M. McKennon; his siblings, Joanne Newman, William Newman, Marion Boyes, and Gerald Newman. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Kelly MacIntosh; her children, Jamie Gillespie (Robert Stinton), TJ Chism (Sarah); and grandchildren, Damion Kinslow, Braydon Stinson, Ellie Chism.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, August 26 from 5-6pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805. A celebration of life will follow the visitation at 6pm. Interment will be private.
