Mark P. "Moochie" Toner

Age 70, of New Castle, DE, born September 14 1955, passed away peacefully at his close friend's home, Bonnie Flowers, of New Castle, DE on March 18, 2026.

Mark was the center of our large family and will be sadly missed but remembered for his deep love for his parents, siblings, cousins and close friends. He had the biggest heart and spent his life helping anyone in need.

Mark loved spending time outdoors in nature, hunting and fishing. He was an avid Phillies and MN Vikings fan.

Mark retired from St. Peter the Apostle Parish after 35+ years of service as a Maintenance and Custodial worker.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, John J Toner Sr, his mother, Theresa V Toner, his sister-in-law, Kathy V. Toner and nephew Wayne W. Toner. 

He is survived by his 11 siblings, John J Toner Jr, Joseph and Delia Toner, Mary Thomas,  Patricia Thomas, Charlotte Toner, Loretta Toner and Robert Steimling, Theresa Toner and spouse Keith Wilson, Edith and Donald Evans, Georgina Toner, Francis and Laureen Toner, and James and Dahlia Toner. He is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and their spouses and children.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian burial at St. Peter the Apostle RC Church, 5th and Harmony Sts, New Castle, DE on Fri, March 27 at  11:00am. Burial will take place immediately following mass at the adjoining church cemetery.
