Born November 12,1944 in the Forty Acres, passed away in Boynton Beach, FL on December 8, 2024.

Meg was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; her parents, Joe F. and Margaret (Lynch) Rupp; and her niece, Deborah Fookes.

She was a 1965 graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing. Meg enjoyed her career as a nurse with CCVNA, Christiana Care Visiting Nurse Asso. for over 45 years. She became a certified oncology nurse in 1994. Meg belonged to DDCONS and was a board member for two terms. Meg will be remembered for her dedication to her patients and as a mentor to her staff.

She also greatly enjoyed spending her summers at the beach house with family and made several wonderful friends with neighbors. Most of all, Meg loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick and Thomas; her grandchildren Mackenzie, Kayla, Parker, and Hannah; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life service on Saturday, Jan 4 at 10:30am at St. Matthew R.C. Church, 901 Newport Pike, Wilm., DE 19805. Friends may call at the church from 9:30am-10:30am. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Meg's name to the Helen Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown Stanton Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
