Mary Ann Serpe
Age 79 of Newark

Passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2023.

Mary Ann was employed at the Ronson Company after her graduation from high school. On March 20th,1965, Mary Ann married the love of her life, Thomas Serpe. Together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Mary Ann was the ultimate support to her husband and often spent time helping at the family bakery.

Mary Ann liked to go shopping with friends and was an animal lover through and through. She enjoyed the warmer months and was happiest spending time by the pool or going on family beach trips, but most of all she treasured her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her husband, Thomas Serpe; her children, Thomas Serpe, Kevin Serpe, Christopher Serpe, and Tina Marie Prior; and her grandchildren, Alex, Thomas, Danielle, and Michael. She is also survived by many loving great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, on Thursday, June 15 at 11:30am. Friends may call at the church from 10:30-11:30am. Interment will take place after Mass at All Saints Cemetery.
