Mary Ann Wythe, age 79, passed away August 27th, 2021. Mary Ann retired from Colonial School District in New Castle with over 25 years of service.

Mary Ann's greatest joy in life was taking care of her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. From sleepovers at her house to trips to the beach & parks, she always made sure they had a memorable time.

When she wasn't at her 'playground', DE Park, or building puzzles, she stayed busy doing her favorite chore, yardwork. She loved cutting grass and pulling weeds and even trimmed with a pair of scissors. She always kept her yard looking beautiful.

Mary Ann had a beautiful soul. Her life was spent taking care of people and helping anyone who ever needed help. She had the biggest heart of anyone we know.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Richard, whom she missed dearly, and her granddaughter, Brandy Nicole.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Parker, Chrissy Parker, Richard Wythe Jr., and Kelly Pederson; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jason, Randi, Bryce, Rhealynn, Sean, Delani, and Tyler; and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth. Her sisters, Sandra and Janet (Jay); and brother, Edward.
