Matthew J. Baker

Age 35, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

Matthew was a stay-at-home father, and was the co-owner of Locomotive Breath Vapor.

Matthew put his son above all else. He enjoyed playing games, drawing, and spending time with family and friends. No matter where he was, he made friends, and was always the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark S. Baker; his grandparents, Joseph and Mae Baker, and James Brady.

Matthew is survived by his son, Matthew James Baker II; his parents, Thomas R. Baker, Sr. and Paulette (Brady) Baker; his brother, Thomas R. Baker II, and his wife, Shurlene (Hagan); his sister, Jill C. Baker; his grandmother, Lillian (Ruebeck) Brady; his nieces and nephews, Tommy, Tayler, Mark, Sam, Emily, Jake, Braelyn, Luke, Jimmy, Nicky, and Mchayla; his great-nephew, Samuel; and Laura Schneider, the mother of Matthew II.

Relative and friends are invited to the Service on Wednesday, March 7, at 10:00 am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, March 6, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Interment will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, 1000 West Ridge Road, Marcus Hook, PA 19061.
