Passed away peacefully on July 21, 2021.
Michael was born and raised in Wilmington, DE. After he graduated from high school, he joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country.
Michael enjoyed photography and he loved sharing his talent even more, so much so that he installed the photography program at Conrad High School and taught the class for many years. Michael also took pride in his volunteer work. He served as a multi-term Commander of Chapter 3 of the Disabled Veterans of America. Michael was very involved in the Big Brothers of Delaware program and was voted outstanding volunteer in 1981. Michael's greatest love belonged to his dogs throughout the years, and he was a regular visitor to the Rockford Dog Park where he made many life-long friends, both human and canine.
Michael will be interred at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery,2465 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE, on Friday, Jul 30 at 11:00am.
