Michael K. Masters
Age 51, after a courageous four year battle with cancer died on Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
Mike proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was involved with counseling and support system at the Wilmington V.A. Hospital. The staff at the V.A. Hospital considered Mike as one of their own, not only a volunteer.
He was also devoted to his family and friends.
Mike was the son of the late Anthony and Rosina "Peggy" Masters. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Barbara L. Masters; his step-children, Paul Nelson and Tina Duer; his brothers and sister, Anthony Masters, Denise Howard, and Jim Masters; his grandchildren, David, Paul, and Trey; his niece, Monica; and his nephew, Victor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Delaware Veterans Memorial Chapel, 2645 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, Delaware on Wednesday, October 28th at 1 p.m. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
