Miguel A. Guerrero, Jr.

Passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Miguel worked as an HVAC technician as well as bartending in his spare time. He had a charming personality which made him universally loved. Miguel had many interests and hobbies. He loved football and turned his love of the game into an outlet for helping others. He was a coach and mentor for the Newark High School football and was always his brother's biggest cheerleader. Miguel enjoyed watching baseball and cheering on the Phillies and Cubs. He also treasured simpler things like drawing and journaling or taking walks with his dogs. He had a passion for collecting things that were important to him. Miguel's sneaker, baseball card, football card and Pokémon card collection were all quite impressive. Miguel had a knack for home improvement projects and was always happy to watch a Marvel movie with friends and family. However Miguel was happiest spending time with his daughter. Miguel left an impact on many lives and will be truly missed.
Miguel is survived by his father, Miguel A. Guerrero, Sr; his mother, Celia M. Garay; his brother, Angel A. Guerrero; his daughter, Zenny Guerrero; and his fiancé, Bethany Kline. He is also survived by his grandmother, Mariana Serrano, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service for Miguel on Saturday, August 14 at 10:00am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00am-10:00am. Burial will take place after the service at All Saints Cemetery.
