Nellie Louise (Cade) DeFanti
Age 82, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
She was a graduate of P.S. DuPont High School in 1946.
Nellie was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, the beach, and traveling. She spent many years doing ceramics.
She was the daughter of the late Byron and Anne Cade. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John DeFanti, Sr.; and her son, John DeFanti, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Louise and Judy; her grandchildren, Leonard and his wife Bernadette, Jaclyn and her husband Tim; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Jasmin, Travis, and Timothy; and lots of family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Gracelawn Memorial Park, DuPont Pkwy., New Castle, on Tuesday morning, October 12th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere, Monday evening October 11th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
