Patricia A. Fitzpatrick
Age 80, of Elsmere, DE, passed away at home on May 29, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was a graduate of P.S. DuPont in 1950.
Pat first worked for the DuPont Co., and retired from Continental American.
She enjoyed the beach, the Phillies, Law & Order, watching Tom Selleck, and her Sunday afternoon refreshments. She had a love for angels.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earle and Ann (Filliben) Scott; her step-mother, Betty; her brother, Sonny Scott; and two beloved children, Skip and her first daughter, Eileen.
Pat is survived by her husband of 60 years, Francis; her sons, Mark (Rosemary), Michael, Kevin, Timothy; daughter, Eileen; and daughter-in-law, Mary Catherine. She will be especially missed by granddaughter, Mary Frances, and granddaughter, Bobbie. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Our deepest appreciation to all family and friends who showed their love for her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, New Rd., Elsmere on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11 am. Friends may call at the church Monday morning from 9:30-11 am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul, Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere, DE 19805, or Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
