Patricia A. Reed, 66, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, warmth, and cherished memories.
Born on October 8, 1959, to Russell A. and Alice M. Perry, Patricia graduated from Padua Academy High School and raised a family in Nottingham, PA with her husband, Charles D. Reed.
She had a special fondness for cows, especially highland cows. A devoted fan of Notre Dame and Eagles football, she could always be counted on to cheer enthusiastically for her teams, but thought watching them would bring them bad luck. When they would win, she would always say "I knew it! They are going to go all the way."
One of Patricia's greatest joys was crocheting. With patience and care, she created countless handmade pieces for family and friends, each one unique. Her work will continue to be treasured by those lucky enough to have received it.
Above all, Patricia was a great mom, mom-mom, sister, and aunt whose love, guidance, and warmth shaped the lives of her family in lasting ways.
She is preceded in death by her father (Russell), her mother (Alice), her sister, MaryAlice Perry, and her beloved daughter, Jennifer Reed. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles; her daughters, Frankie Kutsch (Chris) and Alyse Wahlig (Stu); her cherished grandchildren, David, Tyler, Zachary, Kaylin, and Harper; her sister, Georgine McGuirk (Darren); her nephews, DJ and Matthew; her great niece Addison; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. She will be remembered for her warmth, her loyalty, and the love she gave so freely.
She is deeply missed and will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service for Patricia at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Friday, April 17 at 11:00am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Burial will take place in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Padua Academy.
