Patricia A. Wilhelm "Chi Chi"

Patricia Gott Wilhelm, lovingly known as "Chi Chi" departed this life with dignity on December 3, 2013 in the comfort of her own home and in the presence of her loved ones.

Chi Chi was born to Frank and Maude Gott on March 26, 1939. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Robert Wilhelm; 10 siblings; 5 nieces; 3 nephews and her beloved dogs.

She is survived by two brothers, David Gott and William Gott (Jane) along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Hard-working and diligent, Chi Chi was an exceptional homemaker and frequently lent her cleaning and organizing skills to others. She was employed by the Brown & Scott Company, the Colonial School District, and the New Castle Bake Shop. A life-long resident of New Castle, Delaware, Chi Chi was a member of the St. Anthony's and St. Gabriel's recreational clubs. A very social person, she truly enjoyed the companionship of others whether she was bowling, playing bocce or shuffleboard, trying her luck on the slot machines, listening to classic country music, or just visiting with family and friends. Chi Chi was a devoted and faithful daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. Her kindness, generosity, humor, and selflessness will be forever remembered by all whose lives she graced.

Interment will take place at The Glebe Cemetery and will be private.
