Paul Russell
Age 84.
Paul was an avid singer and musician who played the French Horn and drums. He traveled with the marching band/drum corp for many years. Paul retired in 1991 after working for DuPont Chamber Works for 31 years. In retirement he loved to be with family and traveled with his wife and longtime friends.
He was the father of the late Robert Russell and Paula Veasy-Russell. Paul is survived by his wife and best friend of 48 years, Joan Russell; his loving daughters, Lori Russell, Amy McKinnon (Greg), and Chrissy Wheeler (Will); his sons, Bill Russell (Linda), and Joe Russell (Theresa); 14 grandchildren ranging from 3 to 30 years old; and 3 great grandchildren. Paul was one of eleven children and was preceded in death by all his brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, DuPont Pkwy., New Castle on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. Friends may call at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel from 9:30-11 a.m. Monday morning. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
