Age 77 of Wilmington, DE
Passed away peacefully, in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, Sept 21, 2014.
Peter and his twin brother established Breslin Contracting, which they owned and operated together for over 30 years.
He was a long time parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church.
Peter was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He always enjoyed his beach trips to Lewes and loved spending time with his family.
Peter was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cortney Lyn Baker.
Left to cherish Peter's memory is his wife, of 57 years, Anita M. Breslin; his daughters, Anita T. Baker, Teresa Ann Breslin, and Melissa Breslin; his 7 grandchildren, Danette Marie Foster and her husband, Stephen, Crystal Leigh Baker, Andrea Michelle Baker, Daniel Cortland Baker Jr., Kyle Halferty, Chase Halferty, Emily Farnkopf; his 2 great-grandchildren, Tenley Lyn Foster and Stephen Anthony Foster Jr.; his sisters Sally Lanouette and Elizabeth Whitfield and her husband, Eugene; and his brothers, James Breslin, Patrick Breslin, and his wife, Carol, William Breslin, Charles Breslin, and his wife, Naomi, and Thomas Breslin and his wife, Kathy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena, 2503 Centerville Rd., Wilm., DE 19808, on Friday, Sept 26 at 11:00 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Friday, Sept 26 from 9:00am-10:30am. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmngton, DE. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 185 Salem Church Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
