Ralph L. Moore
Passed away on Sun., Oct. 9, 2011, at Christiana Hospital after a twenty-five yearlong battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Ralph was the devoted husband of the late Jean B. (Bock) Moore, who died in 2004.

Ralph was a World War II veteran and served in the Navy from 1943-46. He received advanced degrees in engineering from the University of Delaware, Drexel University, and Case Western.

He was a mechanical engineer at the DuPont Company for 45 years. After retirement, he continued as a consultant for DuPont in that capacity.

Ralph was the author of several books on waste water management and other topics. He was a member of numerous technical (engineering) associations and instrument societies. He was a lifelong avid reader.
He was a founding member of Community Fellowship Church in 1949. He served for many years as Chairman of the Board of Elders, and taught Sunday school at the church for many years.
Ralph is survived by his children, Constance J. Moore, of New York City and Wilmington, DE; and Ernest L. Moore, of Atglen, PA

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service on Thurs., Oct. 13, at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 am in the Chapel. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ralph's name to the Community Fellowship Church, 200 Armstrong Ave., Wilm., DE 19805.
