Nancy J. Wilson passed away at the age of 80 on April 23, 2015. She was a William Penn graduate. Nancy held several different employment positions, but her lifelong career was being a homemaker and caring for her family. She was a self-taught organist and thoroughly enjoyed music. Nancy's favorite pastimes included reading, playing cards. and board games with her loved ones.
Ralph T. Wilson passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2015. Ralph was also a William Penn graduate. He was a dedicated employee of Quillen Brothers Ford for 36 years. Ralph spent the next 20 years working at Bayshore Ford. He was a patrolman with the New Castle Police for 7 years in the 60s. Ralph greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also took pleasure in reading sci-fi books. Ralph was a life member of Goodwill Fire Company and served on the board of directors.
Ralph and Nancy were happily married for 61 years. Together they lived in New Castle/Castle Hills where they raised their family.
They were preceded in death by their son, Victor, and granddaughter, Angela.
Ralph and Nancy will be dearly missed by their children, R. Thomas Wilson, Jr. (Louise), David Wilson (Kim), Alicia Wilson Smith (David Mackenzie), and Steven Wilson; grandchildren, Dayna Bellafore (Mike), Ashley Casula (Ben Bogia), Kymberly Wilson (Mark Christiansen); and many loving great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Nancy and Ralph lives on Sunday, September 13 at Goodwill Fire Co., 401 South St, New Castle, DE 19720, at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be made to Goodwill Fire Co, 401 South St, New Castle, DE 19720, or the Delaware Humane Society, 701 A ST., Wilm., DE 19801.
