Robert C. Rumble
Age 71, died suddenly on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at home in Lewes, Delaware.
Bob was the son of Robert and Catharine (Wotring) Rumble. He was born in Allentown, PA, and grew up in a nearby town, Topton. He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy, and they lived their entire married life in the New Castle, Delaware area.
He was an engineer and a project manager for industrial mechanical contractors in the South Jersey area.
With the love of the beach, he retired in Lewes, DE, and enjoyed walking, biking, and fishing at Cape Henlopen State Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Rumble, in 2005. He is survived by his daughters, Jody Sies, and her husband, Larry, and Christie McVey, and her husband, Joseph; his brother, Richard Rumble, and his wife, Sandy; and his grandchildren, Harper and Madeline McVey, and Daniel and Taylor Sies.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere, on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at 12:00 noon. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am to noon. Interment will be private.
