Robert Francis Wulkewicz, 38, of Wilmington, Delaware, affectionately known as "Bobby" passed away peacefully in the company of his family on August 7, 2012 at 8:00 in the evening. Bobby was born and raised in Elsmere, and has fond memories of his teenage years in New Castle.
Two of his proudest moments were the births of his daughters. Bobby enjoyed watching his daughters play softball and attending their swim meets. He also participated and attended the sports of his nephews and nieces.
Bobby worked for many years at Proco, LLC in Aston, PA. Bobby loved and enjoyed all of his coworkers. He was also an avid sports fan; his favorite teams being Michigan, Phillies, and the Flyers.
He was welcomed into heaven by his Mom-mom and Pop-pop Wulkewicz,; his father, Robert Wulkewicz; his Mom-Mom Mantyla; and maternal grandfather, Hyland Marvel. He will be cherished and forever loved by his daughters, Samantha, 10, and Abilgail, 7; and their mother Jennifer; his mother and stepfather, Michael and Leslie Spinella; sister, Lisa and her husband Tim, sister, Jennifer and her husband Mike, sister, Angela and her husband Hank, and sister, Rachel and her husband Anthony. He will missed by his beloved nephews, Craig, Mikey, and Tino; nieces, Annette, Brooke, Juliette, Victoria, Lauren, and Gianna; cousins; aunts, especially Alice and Ann; uncles; and a wide circle of friends including Ruby Quillen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul's R. C. Church, 209 Washington St., Delaware City, on Saturday morning August 11, 2012 at 10 am. Friends may call at the Krienen Funeral Home, 34 West 6th St., New Castle on Friday evening August 10, 2012 from 6-8 pm. Interment in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Delaware City.
