Obituary
Rose Mary (Warnke) Hamilton
Age 88, died on July 11, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Marie and John Warnke of Philadelphia.
She is survived by Daniel, her husband for 60 years, and their son, Paul, who lives in Montana. A sister, Elizabeth Bacica, resides in Florida. An older brother, John, died in WWII.
Rose was a graduate of Temple and taught at Holy Rosary, IHM, and St. John the Beloved for the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington. She was also a substitute teacher in the Brandywine School District. After retiring from teaching, she was a volunteer coordinator for Republican State Committee and a fund raiser for the Delaware Pro-Life Coalition.
As a devotee of the Latin Mass, she has long been a member of the Regina Coeli Society and their choir at St. Patrick's Church, and a daily communicant at the Franciscan Retreat Center on Prior Road.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16th at Holy Rosary Church in Claymont. Interment will be private.
