Rose passed away at home after a short illness on January 16, 2021.

Rose had a lifelong devotion to St. Anthony, St, Jude, and the Rosary. She was a great mom, grandmother, and grandmama, a caring friend to many and a good neighbor whose door was always open.

Rose was preceded in death by her husbands, Aaron Oken and Michael Rostocki Jr; her son, Michael Rostocki III; and grandson, Michael Rostocki IV.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Janet Protack (Peter Paul); her grandsons, Tim (Ann), Jamie (Jen), and Josh; her great-grandchildren, Gus, Louis, Bella, Molly, Chase, Max, and Tyler.

The family would like to thank Delaware Hospice, especially Latrina, and her caregivers, Marline, Carmen, Gina. We are also grateful for her neighbors at Brandywine Park Condominiums and special thanks to Andre, Cheryl and Bill Sullivan for their ongoing care and concern.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests calling an elderly or sick shut in and telling them that you are thinking of them. Rose led a full and interesting life, and she would want us to celebrate her passing by bringing love and joy to each other and reaching out to those who are less fortunate and doing something positive in her name.

Due to COVID all services for Rose will be private and a celebration of life will take place when it is safe for all in attendance.
