Sandra Lee Stubbs
(Sandy) (Sis)
Of New Castle, age 44, died November 20, 2010 due to complications of MS.
Sandy graduated from William Penn High in 1984. She loved being a member of the William Penn band front color guard and took great pride in carrying the American Flag. She loved nature, being on the mountains, animals, reading her Bible, her computer, TV, and her biggest love her companion, Odie, her cat.
She worked for Brosius and Eliason starting after graduation in the Claymont store, then moving to the Glasgow store after it opened until MS caused her to become disabled. Sandy was a member of First Baptist Church.
Sandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Woodall W. and Jane N. Sheats. She is survived by her mother, Linda J. Stubbs; her sister, Mary Jane Stubbs; aunts and uncles, Pat and Bud Pickhaver, Sandy and Danny Young, and Woody and Dottie Sheats; close friend, Gina Olliver; and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at First Baptist Church, 901 East Basin Rd., New Castle, on Friday, November 26th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday morning.
