Sharon K. Rogers aged 57 who resided in Wilmington, Delaware passed away Saturday December 5th, 2020 due to long-term autoimmune issues at St. Francis Hospital.

Sharon was born in Wilmington, Delaware and resided in Newark, DE her entire childhood. She graduated from Glasgow high school in 1981. She enjoyed attending the University of Delaware football program where her father was Head Usher when she was younger. She would later begin working there under him, for many years. She was also a part of her father's successful tax preparation business.

Sharon enjoyed the nature. She loved the mountains of Virginia and camping there. She also enjoyed visits to the Caribbean with her husband Scott, of 26 years. She also loved cats and all animals.

Sharon loved life. She fought a long battle against various illnesses, to enjoy as much as she could. She was extraordinarily strong willed and determined to enjoy her life. Sharon really loved her family, who rallied around her.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Scott Rogers; two nieces, Angela Neaves and Jennifer Stewart and their children, Juliet Whittle and Elliot Whittle. Two nephews, Brian J. Stewart and Robert F. Neaves and one child Brody Neaves.

Sharon was predeceased by her mother Maridel Jester; father, Franklin Jester; two sisters, Susan G. Neaves and Carol A Stewart.

A visitation will be held on Monday morning, December 14, 2020 from 10:00 at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805 to 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Cemetery.
