Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
Stella was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her kind and compassionate demeanor was welcoming to all. She was affectionately called grand mom by all the children that she cared for.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, 12 siblings, and her loving husband, Casimir.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne and his wife, Nancy, with whom she resided, Anthony and his wife, Laurie, and Dennis and his wife, Bonnie; her grandchildren, Nicole, Richard, Anthony (Meghan), and Timothy (Erica); her 3 great-granddaughters, Alana, Brooklyn, and Layla; and her sister, Rose Fusco.
The family would like to thank the staff of both Heartland Hospice and Manor Care for their loving care at this difficult time.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service for Stella at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Saturday, December 6 at 11:00 am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30-11:00am. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
