Stephen Charles Brobst, a beloved husband and friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on March 19, 2026, at the age of 78. 

He was born on July 29, 1947, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and spent many years dedicated to his profession as a heater mechanic at Diamond Oil, a vocation he approached with unparalleled skill and steadfast commitment.

Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a testament to his strong sense of duty and patriotism. 

In his personal life, he was a devoted spouse to his wife, Diane Brobst, and together they created a loving home in Wilmington, Delaware. They enjoyed the simple things in life like a good show to watch, doing a puzzle to do together, and enjoying a can of diet Mountain Dew. 

Stephen had a soft spot for animals and enjoyed going to ferret shows.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 2:00pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 1:00pm -2:00pm. 

Stephen will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever reside in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
