Suzanne Borowski

Age 88, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Forwood Manor.

Suzanne graduated from A. I. DuPont School in 1943, and Delaware Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. She was employed at Wilmington Hospital as a surgical nurse, worked for Dr. Laird as a private nurse, and a Parochial School Nurse retired in 1989.
She was a member of the Corpus Christi R. C. Church in Elsmere, serving on several committees in her lifetime…the Carnival, St. Vincent DePaul, Parish Council, and lector at Masses. She volunteered at Emmanuel Dining Hall for several years.

Suzanne was a very good and meticulous cook and loved cooking dinners for her family. She took great pride in all her grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Mary and Frank Bartash. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Stanley Borowski; her children, Stephen Borowski (Elizabeth), Patsy Kelly (Bob), Philip Borowski (Sharri), Adam Borowski (Chris); her brother, Al Bartash (Maggie) and their son, Michael; her grandchildren, Doug and John Kelly, Brad Borowski, Briana Borowski, Eddie Borowski, Joey Borowski, and Danny Borowski; and great grandchild, Rose.

The family would like to thank the Forwood Manor Nursing Home for their loving care of Suzanne for the past 9 ½ years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, New Rd., Elsmere on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10:30 am. Friends may call at the church from 9:30-10:30 am Saturday morning. Interment in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington.
