On Thursday December 16, 2021, Tessie Grodzicki, age 89, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side.

Tessie was a loving wife, mother, mom-mom and gi-gi, who was devoted to her family. She was a devout Catholic and faithful member of Saint Elizabeth Parish, where she was President of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality.

Tess worked as business manager for her husband Stanleys T.V. repair business. She also worked at Stanton Shop Rite where she retired after a long career.

She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley of 54 years and her 7 brothers, Vincent, Ben, Eddie, Jesse, Joe, Frank, John and sister, Helen.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Lorrie (Miller), Karen (Michael) and Cindy (Joe); 6 grandchildren, Jill, Sean, Jake, David, Joey, and Cecil; and 2 great-grandchildren, Addy and Brookie. Sean was devoted to his grandmother and was her loving caregiver for many years.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 27th from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, 809 S. Broom St, Wilmington DE. Afterward, in celebration of Tessie's life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Following mass, Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery on Kirkwood Highway.
