Theresa A. (Behornar) Miller

Age 58 of New Castle, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2014.

Ms. Miller was born in Wilmington, DE on December 29, 1955 to the late Louis and Vera Behornar.

Recently she worked for the Colonial School District in the nutrition services department as a lead cook baker for 21 years of service, and for the Shop-Rite of Newark as a porter for 15 years, but mostly recently a cashier.

Ms. Miller in her leisure loved to read and going to the beach, but above all she was a loving and devoted mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She would do anything for anyone if and when she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Michael Behornar, and a grandson. She is survived by her sons, James Miller (Denise), and Jason Miller; a brother, John Behornar; step-children, David, Beth, and Sarah; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter R. C. Church, 5th & Harmony Sts., New Castle on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:30 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Thursday evening, February 27, 2014 from 6-8 pm. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Newark.
