Thomas L. Buck
Age 79, of Elsmere, passed away surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Tom worked for Insteel Wire Products for 35 years. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and rooting for the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoyed spending time at Tony's auto shop with the guys.
Tom was born in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, on October 26, 1932. He was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of 54 years; daughter, Carol Hames; grandson, Scott Hames. He is also survived by his brother, Walter Buck of Forest City, PA. Uncle Tom will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews from Wilmington, and the Scranton Pennsylvania area.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Timothy Wozniak and staff at the Helen Graham Center, Dr. Shakamuri and staff, and Heartland Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday morning. Interment is private.
