Victoria A. Demanczyk
Age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
Vicky was born and raised in the East Side of Wilmington. She attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School and Brown Vocational High School.
She was a member of the Corpus Christi R. C. Church for over 60 years, and supported its many parish functions. She was active in the Claymore Senior Center.
She enjoyed cooking, travelling, and engaging in family traditions. Whether she was called Mom, Babci, Cioci, Aunt, Vicky, or Mrs. D., her memories will be cherished by all.
Vicky was the beloved wife of the late John Demanczyk for 42 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances (Brzozowska) Duszynski; her brothers, John, Joe, Leo, and Walter Duszynski; and her sisters, Anna Brown, and Vera Swarter. She is survived by her children, Paul (Debra), John (Angela), Maria Andrews (Jim), Gloria Jeffery (Tony), and Joseph (Brenda); 14 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Monday morning August 19, 2013 at 10 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Sunday afternoon, August 18, 2013 from 3-5 pm. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
