Victoria A. Thawley
Age 78 of Middletown
Passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Victoria was born in New Castle, Delaware to the late Angelo and Angelina (Tritelli) Quattrociocchi. She attended St. Peter the Apostle Grade School and was a proud 1961 graduate of St. Peter High School. After graduation, Victoria went to work for Bellevue Holdings, where she had an accomplished 50-year career.
Victoria was a member of the Italian Historical Society and always enjoyed time spent with her friends as a member of the Red Hat Society. In her down time Victoria enjoyed reading, writing stories, cooking, and baking. She always took pride in having her home decorated for any season.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Thawley; son, Jamie L. Thawley; and siblings, Marie Wilson and Anthony Quattro.
Victoria will be dearly missed by her children, James W. Thawley, II, and his wife, Rochelle Thawley, with whom she resided for 20 years, Jody B. Thawley, and his wife, Candace Thawley, and Jay H. Thawley, and his wife, Joanne Thawley; her grandchildren, Arianna, Julianna, Tanner, Brock, Brett, Vincent, Jennifer, and Jillian; and her great-grandchildren, Noah and Emma.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of life service on Thursday, Sept 30, at 2pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 101 W. 6th St., New Castle, DE 19720. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Interment will be privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
