Wilbur D. Raker
Age 63, of Elsmere, DE passed away on Monday, August 04, 2014.
Wilbur was a 1969 graduate of Conrad High School. After graduation, Wilbur began work at DuPont as mail operator. He was a dedicated employee for over 30 years.
Wilbur was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on all the Philadelphia sports teams. He also took pleasure in spending time outdoors and fishing. Wilbur was a devoted son and loving caregiver to his parents in their later years.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents, Alice (Hoke) and Wibur Raker. He is survived by his loving siblings, Ronald L. Raker, Stephen Raker (Patricia), and Robert H. Raker (Laurie); and 4 nephews, John, Jason, Joshua, and Philip.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service for Wilbur at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, De on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00am. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30am to 11:00am. Interment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
