William J. Barnes Sr.
New Castle - In the early evening of September 28, 2021,William Barnes, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, and their eldest son, Bill Jr.
He is survived by his daughters, Christine Hansen and Lisa SantaBarbara (Tom); his son, Tim Barnes (Robin) and his daughter in law, Luanne Barnes (Bill Jr.).
Pop Pop will be forever missed by his 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters. Many nieces and nephews will also miss Uncle Bill.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 8 at 12 noon at Holy Spirit R.C. Church, 12 Winder Rd. New Castle, DE 19720. Friends may call at the church from 10-11:30 am. Burial will be private
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
