Willam A. Cribb
Age 73, died Thursday, March 8, 2012. He was born July 31, 1938.
Bill fought for one year a courageous battle with liver disease.
He worked for 35 years as maintenance master with hotels in Wilmington, the Sheraton, Brandywine Best Western, and the Marriott He also worked for 5 years with YMCA in Wilmington.
Bill retired after 26 years of service with the Army National Reserves 198th Signal Battalion.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean; two sons, Michael and his wife Susan of Wilmington, Mark and his wife Amy of Newark; 4 grandchildren, Arianna, Coty, Taylor, and Casi Lyn Cribb; and sister, Viola Cribb of Lewes, DE.
The family would like to thank all doctors, nurses, and staff at Christiana Hospital ER and especially Christiana 6th Floor E Wing for the caring and love to Bill during this time and the support they gave the family. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Delaware Hospice for the love and support they provided.
Family and friends may visit with the family at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Wednesday evening, March 14, 2012 from 6-8 pm. Interment is private.
The family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, Inc., 3515 Silverside Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
