William M. Price
Age 84, died on January 17, 2013.
Born in Wilmington, DE he attended Sacred Heart grade school and Wilmington High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at DuPont Chestnut Run, retiring in 1985. He was a former town councilman for the Town of Elsmere, and a parish council president and carnival chairman for Corpus Christi Church.
He was an artist, poet, and naturalist. He enjoyed bird watching, and fishing with his children and grandchildren.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maryanne (Kerrigan) Price and his 7 children and their spouses, Bill and Donna Price, Jane and Charles Seward, Tom and Judy Price, Jerry and Karen Price, Mary Therese and Phil Marinelli, Kay and Jimmy Facciolo, and Joey and Angie Price. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Beloved Church, Milltown Rd. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11 am. Friends may call at the church from 9:30-11 am. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Capuchian Poor Clare Sisters, 816 N. Jefferson St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
