Yolanda Alvini age 85 passed away on November 8, 2021, at Christiana Hospital from complications of COVID-19.

Yolanda was born in Italy to the late Pio and Antonietta DiStefano. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Yolanda was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucia and Ida; and her brother, Giusseppe.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alexander; daughters, Maria, Caroline and Rosaria (Kevin); sons, Gabriel ( Diane) and Dominic; grandchildren, Kevin, Nichole, Isabella, Sophia, Natalia, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas and Amelia; and her sister, Ada; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 23 at 11:30 am at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 521 Harmony St. New Castle. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 – 11:00 am. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.

Upon request of the family, masks are required for the services for Yolanda.
