Passed away peacefully at Foulk Manor South on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
Born Dorothy Powell in Ringgold, PA to the late Roy and Grace (McMaster) Powell. She was a member of New Castle United Methodist Church for over 60 years as well as a member of the Philathea Bible study.
Dorothy was a lifelong homemaker. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Olin M. Moore, and her siblings, Gladys Kramer of Ohio, Clarence and Claire Powell of Timblin, PA, and Dale Powell of London, England.
Dorothy will be dearly missed by her daughters, Diane (Moore) Ciaffi-lliff (Dave) and Janice (Moore) Winand (Steve); her grandson, Michael Ciaffi; and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Vera Himes and Roy "Joe" Powell.
The family would like to thank the staff of Foulk Manor South and Delaware Hospice for the dedication and care.
