Antoniette "Nettie" (DeLuca) Fell

Age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones at Seasons Hospice.

Nettie was the daughter of the late Nicola and Carina DeLuca. She graduated from Wilmington High School. After graduation, she began working for the duPont Company, and retired after 47 years of service. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She loved shopping, reading, talking to friends and family, working in her garden in the bright sunshine, and trips to Florida.

In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony DeLuca (Priscilla, Anthony, Jr.); her sister, Philomena Paulino; her brothers-in-law, Joseph Maciey, Sr., and Norman Williamson, Sr. She is survived by her children, Carina M. Shweda, P. Douglas Fell, Nicholas J. Fell, and Carol Ann Fell; her sisters, Marie Williamson and Angela Maciey; longtime companion, Don Passwater; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and cousins, nieces, nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere, on Tuesday, July 26, at 12 noon. A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 to noon. Interment will take place at Cathedral Cemetery.
