Obituary for Julia A. Indellini

Passed away peacefully on December 7, 2015.

Julia was born in West Chester, PA the daughter of the late Nicholas and Jennie (DiAgostino) Orlando.
She was a 1953 graduate of Media High School. Upon graduation Julia went to work for AT&T in Washington D.C. She later transferred to Equitable Life Assurance in Wilmington, DE, and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. She married the love of her life, Michael Indellini on May 29, 1965. Together they lived in New Castle and raised their family.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Indellini; and her two sons, William and Barry.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Bridget Paris and her husband, Steven, of Delaware City, DE, and Debra Murphy of New Castle, DE; 8 grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren. Julia is also survived by her brother, Joseph Orlando and his wife, Rose, of Clarksville, DE; sisters, Patricia Schiebe and her husband, Robert, of West Chester, PA, and Marie Simon and her husband, David, of New Castle; and many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend viewing for Julia on Thursday, December 17 from 8:30-9:30 am at Krienen Funeral Home, 34 W. 6th St., New Castle, DE 19720. The funeral service will begin at 9:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.

In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Julia’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 100 W 10th St #1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
