Obituary for Larry Willow Renninger

Larry W. Renninger
AGE: 73 • Elsmere
Passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on June 26, 2017.
Larry was raised in Elsmere and graduated from Conrad High and Penn State University. After living and working in many states, he and his wife returned to his family home in Elsmere after his retirement from Pitney Bowes in Connecticut.
He was a craftsman in woodworking, stained glass, painting, and gardening which was his passion. He also was an outdoorsman in fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. He enjoyed many horseback adventures in Arizona. Travels with Emily included a recent trip to St. Martin to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
Larry's family will remember him as a man with the mind of an engineer and the soul of an artist. He lived his life intensely with great joy and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Emily; his son, Joseph; daughter, Jeannine Fielding; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Lydia Fielding. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend the viewing at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy. Elsmere, DE 19805, on Thursday, July 6 from 6:00-8:00pm. Interment will take place in Middleburg, PA.
