Condolence: Karl was my friend while we were at VT. He lived right across the hall from me in Miles Hall. We had some great times together, especially our sophomore year. That year the whole end of Miles Hall became really close. He was one of my best friends while there. We talked for years afterward, but lost touch when I moved about 15 years ago. Words can not describe how I felt when I heard the news of Karl. I always figured we would get through the family raising time period of our lives, and then be able somehow to reconnect and go right back to the good ole days in Miles Hall. I really believed one day we would do all those crazy things we talked about when we were young. I wish we could talk one more time. I will truly miss Karl. I will never forget him. He was my friend.
